On November 26, 2016, Volkswagen China held a conference to reveal their new Tiguan in Shenzhen with the help of a custom VR experience created by Noitom. The event garnered the largest number of people ever to share a VR experience simultaneously. Over 100 people donned HMDs to get a virtual tour of Volkswagen's newest SUV. Noitom's virtual reality showroom will be taken to over 40 Volkswagen distributors throughout China. Dr. Tristan Dai, CTO of Noitom, attended the conference where he hosted a presentation on VR technology.
