German creative technology agency, Demodern, has created a virtual reality experience for PETA that features real-time talking animals. In Eye to Eye, participants are given the chance to engage and converse with a CG generated rabbit that speaks with them at eye level. In a collaboration with creative agency, Kolle Rebbe, the VR experience was conceived to give audiences a unique perspective into the lives of animals. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) sees the virtual concept as an unprecedented way to for people to communicate with, and understand animals. The experience is rendered in Unreal Engine and the rabbit is given human-like qualities with the use of FaceWare Live facial tracking and full-body tracking by Perception Neuron. Read more here.
