This week, the Noitom crew attended their first-ever San Diego Comic-Con where press and attendees were treated to the Alice Space mixed-reality Lunar Landing experience. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, guests to the Noitom Alice Space booth were met with the breathtaking journey from a lunar craft, all the way to the surface of the moon. The fully-immersive, free-roaming experience can include up to six players where they can interact with each other, as well as with real-world objects that they can see inside the virtual world. The Alice Space booth saw non-stop action from geeks, nerds, cosplayers and sci-fi junkies throughout the four-day, world-renowned event. Created in collaboration with NASA, many visitors of Alice Space felt exhilarated after trying the uber-realistically rendered space trip. "One of the neatest experiences of the entire 4.5 days of Comic-Con was offsite at the VR area in the Omni Hotel. The Noitom Alice Space virtual moonwalk was so fun I didn't want it to end. I was beaming like a kid at Disneyland the entire time." said Hot Nerd Girl, a blogger, and visitor to Comic-Con. This was the first time in over a year that Noitom has brought Alice Space to US audiences. Next, the Noitom team heads to SIGGRAPH 2019.
